Well, today we have seen our first snow showers in the area this season. The Team is already bored, and possibly looking forward to the ROC event being held at the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex on Thanksgiving weekend. This is a 600cc Micro “wingless” indoor racing event. If the Team can get all of its budget numbers met for the 2009 season, they will be at this event with one car. Well, that’s it for now. We will keep you posted closer to the time of the event.

On Saturday, the Team traveled to Path Valley Speedway Park. It was a very good day for the Team, since there were no issues. Shawn was in the Stump Acres Diary Farms / Sabko Inc Racing 600cc micro sprint.
During warm ups the track had already became a dry slick track, as what was expected being pretty much a day track. Shawn was running roughly 12.75 second laps on the 1/4 mile oval.
Shawn was in the fourth heat. They were transferring the top five out of the Heat races for the 30 lap “A” Main feature. Shawn finished sixth. He actually spun out twice during the Heat race due to where a part in his car was mounted. The Team corrected the issue preparing for the “B” Main.
Shawn was in the “B” main and they were transferring the top four to the “A” Main. Shawn missed the “A” Main feature by one spot and was listed as the First Alternate, which means he would have started in the 24th starting spot in the 30 lap “A” Main feature if another car was unable to start. Well, you guessed it, all 24 cars started and Shawn missed the show.
The Team finally has a good running and great handling car again. As most of you know, a lot of work went into this car even after the last race at Trailway Speedway.
The Team has this coming weekend off, and is lookng forward to spending time with family and friends.
The last race of the season is scheduled for Saturday, October 25 at Susquehanna Speedway Park. This will be the tracks “Candy Bowl” and children are invited to meet the drivers and teams for “Trick or Treating”!
The Team would again like to thank all of its sponsors, associate sponsors, and family and friends. We will let everyone know more as the “Candy Bowl” approaches. Thank you for visiting our site, and enjoy! Happy Hauntngs!

What an awesome day for a race! Although Shawn did not qualify for the 50 lap “A” Main event, the Team did get some bugs worked out of the car. There are still a few more issues from the accident at Susquehanna Speedway Park that need corrected, but the car did have a strong engine today.
The Team’s next event will be on Saturday, October 11 at Path Valley Speedway Park. This will be the tracks 600cc National Open. The Team hopes to get the last two issues with the car taken care of this week so that they are ready for Saturday.
For another big race, and being new to 600cc micro sprints, the Team is gaining experience and hopes to be one of the top Teams in the 2009 season.
Thanks for visiting our site, and we will keep you updated as to how next weekend is looking.

All racing for 600cc micros has been cancelled for this weekend. Shawn is hoping to run in the Kevin Gobrecht Memorial that has been rescheduled for next Sunday, October 5, at Trailway Speedway in Hanover, PA.

The 12a is currently not racing. Shawn was involved in a crash this past Wednesday at Susquehanna Speedway Park during practice. He had something break in the steering and slammed into the turn three wall. Shawn was ok and walked away from the scene, but the car did not make out as well. Currently, the Team has the car all torn apart, and has started putting the new parts back on the car. The Team is trying to get the car back together as quickly as possible.
The Team was looking forward to racing in the Kevin Gobrect Memorial race at Trailway Speedway on Saturday, September 27, but had decided to wait to get back on the track until the following weekend. Shawn has to work at Williams Grove Speedway during the Hughes National Open and the visit from the World of Outlaws.
We will keep you updated and let you know when the Team has the car put back together and race ready again. Thank you all for your support and help in getting the car back together!

The new 12a made its first debut Friday evening at Path Valley. Shawn was not very happy with the car at all. “We have been having throttle issues since Wednesday evening”, stated Shawn. “It’s not the teams fault. It’s a new car and we need to get the bugs worked out.”
Shawn took the green flag and spun in turn four. He lost his steering going into turn one and was taken to the pits.
Xzander drove the 12x. He did not start the feature.
“We are hoping to get issues resolved this week and get back to Path Valley on Friday evening before we take off for two weekends to go on vacation.”, stated Shawn.
We will keep you updated through the week as to how the plans are going on returnong to Path Valley on Friday, August 29. Thank you for visiting our site. Be safe!

Sabko, Inc. Racing is now looking for sponsors for the upcoming 2009 racing season. Although the 2008 season is still upon us, we understand how important it is for companies to get their advertising budgets in order by the end of 2008. The Team also needs to have cars rebuilt, painted, decaled, etc. by the end of January 2008 for the start of the “Show Season” which kicks off the middle of January.
2009 will find two 600cc micro sprints in action at area tracks. Shawn will be piloting the 12a and his son, Xzander, will be piloting the 12x.
The Team has hopes to race two nights a week next season and attend some National events if it is the budget. The Team will be running in the Pennsylvania 600 Speedweek being held around the July 4th weekend.
If you or someone you know may be interested in a primary sponsorship or an associate sponsorship, please feel free to click on the “Contact Us” logo at the top of the page. The Team has “mini” sponsorship booklets they can send out for serious inquiries only. The Team is also working on a few deals already for 2009, so don’t miss out on joining our Team and enjoying the many different venues of racing.
Thank you for visiting! The Team will be at Susquehanna Speedway Park on Wednesday evening for another practice session. Take care and see you all soon!
